Amma is Gods love in a human form


AMMA:

"In this time of selfishness, seva (selfless service)
is the soap that purifies our mind.
Every day try to do 1-2 hours of selfless service"



"If you do spiritual practices without performing selfless actions,
it will be like buillding a house without any doors,
or a house that doesn't have a path to enter".





Nada and I met Amma at her 53' birthday in sep. 2007.
Because of the huge crowd, we were supposed to stay only 2-3 days,
but ended up staying 2 weeks, until Amma left for Europe.
We were deeply touched in our heart.

One time I even packed my things to go,
there was just too much awareness there for me.
I felt like Amma was keeping a flashlight close to my body.
All the time I could see everything inside me, all the good things,
but also all the bad shit, that was hiding in the darkness.
It was impossible to escape, I tried to read a book, it didn't work out.
Nothing could take away the feeling of Amma's awareness.

But all the time I also felt Amma's love in me.
As if she was wispering: "It is all ok my son".

A lot of transformation was going on inside us, all the time.
And it was not always pleasant.

At night we sang bhajans together with Amma,
and it was just heaven.

Amma's Grace is mercyless love.

When we left, we both felt that our hearts were changed.
We still feel that change.
It's like Amma comes inside your heart and makes it soft,
she slowly opens you up to love,
with her majestic love and compassion.

It's an ongoing process.


Amma is like the sun, and we can try to be like a firefly.



Amma is everywhere.

When the tsunami struck in India and other places around the world in dec. 2005,
Amma was there to help even before the first wave hit the shore.
She new something terrible was going to happen, and she had warned about it the year before.
She started a rescue program, as soon as the water subsided into the sea.
She knew that what disappears has to come back.
In this way as much as possible was saved, both people and material.

Among the 3000 ashram residents, none were physically harmed
due to mothers foresight.

Amma was the only one that started and finished a total rescue program.

She sheltered all the villagers in the area in her ashram in Kerala
and gave meal 3 times a day to thousands of people for many month.

She send out her swamis to talk to all who had lost something
in the catastophy, to find out precisely what they had lost.

Amma and the ashram residents didn't sleep for days when they started to help the needed.

Amma was there all the time among the people, talking to everybody, consoling their deep pain,
arranging everything.

All who needed it got free help in "AIMS".

AIMS is a top modern hospital, buildt by Amma's organisation
giving free help to the local poor people.

Amma's engineering school and other schools were closed for month,
and were used to shelter the homeless.
And all the students worked very hard to help everybody.
They cooked, builted, cleaned up, sew and so forth.

New shelter homes were build to everybody.

All the devotees helped to clean up the whole land close to the sea.
Most houses and fisher boats were totally smashed.
All was a big mess.

Amma's organisaton has now built new homes to all the families who lost there houses in the tsunami.
Many thousands of new homes.

Amma's organisation arranged in a couple of days after the tsunami,
new clothes for the village people who had lost everything

Even the smal amount of money they had, were lost
because they don't use banks,
but keep their money in their houses.
But Amma also arranged to provide them with new money,
new fisherboats with all equipment, seevingmachines to the women,
and much more.

Amma arranged parents who had lost their children to
work in her homes for orphaned children.

Some women who had lost their children, and couldn't be pregnant, due to
a surgery, Amma arranged for, to get this surgery redone.
Without any cost on theire behalf, on her top modern hospital.
8 women did this and soon they gave birth to new
beatiful children. Some even got twins.
They all came to Amma for her darshan, and
all were crying of happines and because of Amma's grace.

Amma gave names to all the new children.
The sorrow were at this moment changed to joy.

Later she started education for the vilage children in the area.
So they don't have to be dependent of only fishing.
After gradutaion she arranged for jobs to all.
Inside or outside her organisation.

Amma arranged for new trees to be grown, and planted along the seashore.

Amma even started swimming lessons for the village children,
she said: "the only way the children can regain trust in water is through water".
So Amma came into the pool with them and showed them how to swim,
and they all had much fun together in that pool.




AMMA:
"You can look up at the sun and think,
'I want to be like the sun!'
But you know practically that this can never happen.
At least why not try to be like a firefly.
We might not be able to shine that full light
and warmth unto the world like the sun,
but at least we can become like a tiny glow in the dark.
A small beacon of light to guide someone's way".


Amma is not a guru who just sit down and meditate,
she work so hard, that it's imposible to comprehend.
She has so many projects going on all the time,
and she has already done so much.

Thanks to her divine energy many thinks have materialized.

Care homes for the elderly
Free houses for the poor and handicapped
(even village's Amma has got built for this purpose)
Univercity's
(approved by the Indian government, to graduate standard)

And much much more






Copenhagen Amma satsang:

We now have 2 groups in Copenhagen.
Every wednesday & thursday we meet to celebrate Amma's Grace.
We sing Bhajans (devotional songs which soothes the soul),
watch Amma on video, or read from her books, meditate
and maybe enjoy thai afterwards,
if we don't walk home in silence and joy.

The 2 groups are a little different in their program.

Both are beautifull.
