Welcome to The Flame of Freedom

SHILLA RECONSTUCTION JAN 2007

In summer of 2006 we went back to Shilla and met our friends.
Puran and his wife Ruby had already buildt a new house,
where they live with a son and grandmother.
It's one big room, and a kitchen with open fireplace on the attic.

The two brothers Cashewram and Sankatram.
Who also went with us on some trekking tours,
were in the process of constructing a new big family house.
The brothers were not so happy at the particular time,
because they resently lost their father due to cancer.

Their spiritual life is most important to them

The Shilla people are very handsome and joyfull beings

Cashewram inside their new house
It's all wood and stone from the surrounding nature

The government provided the Shilla people with wood
& other things for constructing new houses.

Many people were working around Shilla constructing houses.

On top you put also nature material

So even in the midst of this big catastrofy lies some hope and love,
because all families have to work together to create a new village.
Some of the young men suddenly got a deeper purpose for living,
they had to help there family, and build themselves new homes,
for their wifes, children, parents, grandparents & friends.

If you have some idea's or some things that might be at help for Shilla,
