SUNYATA OF DENMARK: 'I'M NOT ALONE I'M ALL ONE'

A natural rare born mystic



Every year Sunyata picked the first flowers that bloomed
in the himalayas, and sent them to Bharadwaj.



Bharadwaj is always talking about his beloved friend Sunyata
Who'm he met around 1962.

Bh.: "We are most gratefull to Denmark,
who brought us the great Sunyata"

Once I asked Sunyata:
'When all is said and done, what is reality'?
YOU ARE IT :he said with such conviction and compassion,
that I became IT.

When I came home late that night on my bicycle, I was amazed.
I asked myself: "Who rode that bicycle?
How did I come home? Did I fly"?
I touched my arm, with great amazement:
"Ohhh I have a body to"?
What a wonder, what a great miracle!!!
I was in great bliss for many days, not aware that I had a body".




Sunyata lived in solitude high up in the Himalayas.

One day when Sunyata was staying with Bharadwaj in Hoshiarpur.
A friend came to Bharadwaj for help. He was in great destress,
becuase his son and daughter in law, was unable to get any children,
even though they had tried for many years. And he was now getting an old man.
He wanted so bad to be a grandfather. 
Bharadwaj said: "you are very lucky, it is so, that a holy man is here right now.
He can help you". So they went to the room where Sunyata was resting, and knocked on the door.

Bharadwaj said:"Sunyata are you awake?".

Sunyata replied with this:
"SUNYATA IS ALWAYS AWAKE".

Bharadwaj said to Sunyata: "I have never burdened you with a personal problem".
Sunyata smiling: "That's why I come to you again and again".
Bharadwaj: "But now I beg you to help my old friend".
Sunyata:"Out with it, tell me".

So they told Sunyata the whole thing.
Sunyata was quiet for a while then he said:
"Your daughter in law will be pregnant". And he even said how many children to come.
So Bharadwaj said to his friend:"now you can relax, Sunyata has blessed your familily.
Go home and have full faith".

After 1 year the daughter in law gave birth. 

And the daughter they got, is now a very succesfull docter in the Usa.


       
Sunyata lived most of his 40 years in Almora in a hut by himself.



Surrounded by the stillness of the sacred mountains,
he called: 'Sri Himalaya'.


For about 10 years he was accompanied by the "non" dog:

Wu Ji:




Bharadwaj ones asked Sunyata:
"Don't you feel alone up there in the Himalayas all by yourself"'?

Sunyatas answer was this:


"I am not Alone I am All One"

"Live life laughingly".

Every winter when it was too cold to stay in Almora,
Sunyata travelled down from his hut
in the Himalayas to Hoshiarpur,
and stayed with Bharadwaj in his simple home.
Sunyata and Bharadwaj wrote many letters to each other,
during their long friendship.
