What is Freedom?
I have spent many years and a lot of time whit many big gurus and yogis.
All had a bit different ideas about liberation.
All promised that liberation is something, I one day would get.
If I just did as they teached. If I just meditated.
Or meditated more or deeper, or made yoga in a more spiritual way.
If I just lived my life with more flow, in a more spiritual way and more unselfish way.
If I just did a lot of sadhana, and unselfish work for others.
They said that freedom is:
eternal happiness, bliss, joy, knowledge, wisdom, emptiness, power, flow, free from judgement,
and a lot more.
So I just ended up the same way for more than 15 years: frustrated.
But all that is a good history because it led me to this moment.
You have to learn things and then give up the things that don't work for you.
And then you have a lot of self lived knowledge.
I'm really happy that I have found a Master that tells me,
that she can not tell me what freedom is, only what it is not.
And there is nothing to gain or nothing to teach.
Just like
Sunyata and
Papaji said.
We are it already just now. It is not something we can get.
There is nothing that we have to say or think or do to be it.
We just are it. So all that comes and goes is not it.
Even depression and bad moods, and the idea that you are not free comes and go,
so they are also not it.
As
Ganga said:
why do you go back to the mind? Why is it so important for you?
What have you lost by leaving the mind, that is so precious that you want to go back?
